ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER (e-Commerce)

A digital marketer who supports the Marketing Lead and is actively involved in various aspects of marketing. This role is responsible for creating, developing and implementing marketing plans in accordance with the Marketing Lead. Therefore, the candidate needs to have creative ideas and concepts that aligns with the marketing strategies as well as the business objectives while meeting expectations of the target audience. The candidate is capable of bringing forth the techniques and methods in promoting products, services and brand image.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Marketing Lead to steer and lead the sales & service related projects across business units to increase web traffic sources, drive digitalisation and improve productivity of the team.
  • Achieve sales targets, customer experience and other targets set for Digital Sales.
  • Conceptualise and execute marketing plans.
  • Develop marketing plans for the eCommerce platforms and channels to maximise sales. This includes planning of product campaigns with creative ideas that would drive engagement and meet the campaigns’ KPI.
  • Formulate campaign plans to meet the objectives and being responsible on performance review, optimisation and analysis.
  • Review and analyse campaign data to provide insights and recommendation for improvement.
  • Leverage on SEM, SEO and affiliate marketing to drive quality traffic to the website.
  • Regular generation of reports on key performance metrics and analyse the results of the marketing efforts.
  • Continually improve the digital business processes with the team, looking for ways to improve efficiencies within the role and the team.
  • Stay updated with the latest marketing trends and competitor activities.
  • Work with individual business units, digital marketers and creative team on online promotion and events.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Digital Marketing at an e-Commerce environment with about 1 to 2 years of people managing experience.
  • Good knowledge of digital media and marketing tools, especially Google Analytics, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) etc. Appreciation of the role of big data in digital marketing.
  • Able to work under pressure and ability to think out of the box.
  • Meticulous and has keen eye for details. Analytical mind with business acumen.
